be merry

This sure is the perfect time to be filled with merry....or as Avery says joy and love.  Time when we are off school & work, able to slow down & spend more time with family...and notice that I have a lot to be merry about.  I am looking forward to 2013...


This is my baby, with two of my bears from my childhood which she renamed Snowflake & Chocolate. {which is good because I cannot recall their names at all}  I adore her & with her sweet self she makes me very merry.

 

 

As I went past her room the other night, I had to grab my camera to capture her sweetness as she slept.

my precious, precious nephew was born on the eve of All Hallow's Eve...his mama's fave holiday =)

He looked like a perfect lil doll to me. 

He fits into the family like he was meant to be here all along...we were just waiting.

end of summer

So it's the end of the summer for us,,,back to school for my kids & I.  It has been a fun summer, especially with our family road trip to Michigan{our longest evah}.

Below is my girl & two of our cousins jumping into the lake. Having.so.much.fun. I know we will continue the yearly summer vacation with all my family.  So my kiddos and cousins can grow up together just like I did with my cousins.

The three of them are taunting our Uncle Bill..not sure what they want him to do, but their silliness was too cute to pass up capturing.

I look forward to the many, many more awesome memories with my family.  Oh how I wish we lived closer.

Meet Janie.  A baby girl in a family of boys.  Three boys in fact.  You can believe the whole family was thrilled to have some pink in the household. 

She is much loved indeed and already has everyone wanting the chance to take care of her.  Who could not dote on this precious baby girl?

Gwinnett Child Photographer: Baby Mitchell

I finally had to chance to meet Mitchell!  Sweet baby boy that he is...I was able to see him wide awake and cuddle with his family, then in dreamland.

Project 52

I finally decided to go for it!  A personal photo project.  I know doing 365 days would not, no -never- get accomplished, so I am doing one picture a week.   52 weeks.  Sounds easy enough right?  Well, I have taken them up to this week...many on a Sunday which technically is the beginning of the week but in my world Monday is the start of the new week.  I hope to carry out the entire project.  Helping me along is the flickr group I joined from Paint the moon photography ...which has weekly theme ideas and posts.  I get motivated browsing the group and have been inspired by many photographers.  I haven't been up to date with my posting (or my editing) but I plan to catch up this summer.
