I cannot believe how long it has been since I have last posted...since the summer!!   This year has been flying by as they do each year. 

I have many awesome photo sessions I wish to blog, but for now here is my sweetie and her annual Valentine's day shoot for her card.  I do really do love this day and have fun celebrating it with my family.

I cannot believe summer is here. Much needed vacation with family at jekyll island, Georgia and then to Florida just the four of us. I adore the beach. 

the breeze...the sand...the food...the sound of the waves...the tired kids who sleep in

The perfect place in my opinion...besides the mega sunscreen applying needed.

we have used [& photographed] these pails for the past 6 years now,,,my friend Denni made as birthday favors.  I look forward to using them many more.

this is a rare sighting for these two...plus my boy asked me to take a picture- very rare indeed

Springtime has finally arrived here in Georgia.  I am so done with cold weather and jackets.  Unfortunately that means the crazy pollen counts in the 1000s as well.  But I am enjoying our spring break this week and look forward to spending time with my family coming in town.

 Avery had the idea to blow the petals she had knocked off our cherry tree.  I think she was picturing a image that I had shown her once of a girl blowing glitter (still want to try that)

Project 52

I finally decided to go for it!  A personal photo project.  I know doing 365 days would not, no -never- get accomplished, so I am doing one picture a week.   52 weeks.  Sounds easy enough right?  Well, I have taken them up to this week...many on a Sunday which technically is the beginning of the week but in my world Monday is the start of the new week.  I hope to carry out the entire project.  Helping me along is the flickr group I joined from Paint the moon photography ...which has weekly theme ideas and posts.  I get motivated browsing the group and have been inspired by many photographers.  I haven't been up to date with my posting (or my editing) but I plan to catch up this summer.
